GSG Cargo wins the Customer Care Award

On Saturday 6th October 2007 Worthing’s famous Pavilion Theatre was the venue for a very special event – the very first Worthing Business Awards, organised by Worthing First. 250 people turned out to celebrate and honour the sheer hard work, talent and determination of the very best businesses in the area.

Following a champagne reception and sumptuous dinner the awards ceremony commenced. In general the awards recognise the best local businesses in the area and GSG Cargo Ltd were awarded the much contested “Customer Care” award. The award recognises the real commitment to customer care and to constantly go that extra mile to ensure that customers are happy.

Owner and Managing Director Stuart Spicer said “We are extremely proud to receive this award. As a company operating in the service industry this is the most important award that we could receive. We are totally committed to our Customer Service and this award is acknowledgment that we are going in the right direction.”

“I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the judges and all those who took the time to nominate us. Of course now we have a reputation to uphold and a title to defend so we will be investing in more tools to further improve our service profile and of course we will be looking to build on our ‘award winning’ customer service reputation.”

It has been a very busy 12 months for the growing company, from expanding and moving into a larger premises to securing fulfilment and distribution contracts, not to mention constant recruitment and training to keep up with customer demands and service expectations.
